Product Description
The R24AVD2 Human Presence Sensing Radar is a compact 24GHz millimeter wave radar module designed for contactless human presence and occupancy detection. Unlike traditional PIR sensors, the module can detect stationary human presence through micro-movement sensing, making it ideal for applications where a person remains still (e.g., reading, sleeping, working at a desk). The module outputs detection status via UART serial interface, enabling seamless integration with MCU-based embedded systems. Three mounting variants are available: R24AVD2-V (top mounting), R24AVD2-H (inclined installation), and R24AVD2-S (inclined installation), with separate datasheets for each variant.
